30-11-2026

Building on the strong engagement and inspiring contributions at the first ANSER conference in 2024, we’re excited to launch the next edition in 2026. The Conference will take place in Brussels from 6 to 8 May 2025.

The Call for Abstracts for the upcoming ANSER Conference 2026 “Leveraging evidence to safeguard sexual and reproductive health and rights on the policy agenda’ is now open.

In a time of growing global instability, from climate-related disasters to political polarisation and humanitarian crises, the urgency to protect and promote Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) has never been greater.  The ANSER 2026 Conference brings together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, CSO representatives and private sector actors to foster collaborative action toward safeguarding SRHR as a policy priority.

By sharing emerging data, supporting capacity development and facilitating partnerships and joint initiatives, the conference aims to strengthen resilient systems, amplify community-driven solutions, and translate research into policies that ensure equitable access to SRHR for all.

Conference themes include:

·        SRHR in humanitarian and climate-related crises

·        Narratives, power dynamics and the politics of SRHR

·        Integration of SRHR in primary care and health systems
