Launch call Short Training Programmes

The Global Minds Fund is launching a new instrument: Short Training Programmes (STP). This instrument provides researchers and lecturers affiliated with Ghent University with an opportunity to integrate issues, themes, and expertise related to sustainable development challenges in the Global South into their training and educational activities.

The overarching objective of the Short Training Programmes is to strengthen the quality and relevance of training and educational programmes at Ghent University by bringing in perspectives and expertise from the Global South. This can be achieved in two ways:

1. integrating perspectives and expertise from the Global South in already existing short training/education programmes such as summer/winter schools, doctoral schools, bootcamps, BIPs, microcredentials, programmes of the academies for lifelong learning,...
2. developing new short training/education programmes with a specific focus on topics and issues pertaining to sustainable development challenges in the Global South.

The deadline for submission is 1st of February 2024 at 23:59 Belgian time.
