Join us in our upcoming Online Café scheduled for the 19th of December 2023 at 1 PM (EAT). This session is an enlightening exploration into "The Narratives of African Women in Science."

Our guest for the event is Liz Ng'ang'a, a social scientist and communications specialist who has dedicated her career to the intersection of science, technology, and development. Holding a Ph.D. in International Development, Liz has made significant contributions to esteemed organizations such as the Joint Support Secretariat Office (JSSO) of the African Union Commission, the African Development Bank, the UN Economic Commission for Africa, FAO, TWAS, and the Science and Development Network.

In her recent work, "Earth, Oceans, and Skies," published by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, Liz unveils the remarkable stories of African women scientists. During our Online Café, Liz will share her insights and experiences, providing valuable knowledge about the incredible achievements of African women in science.
