Objective:

This study evaluates small-holder rainwater harvesting techniques in reducing the low availability of water in the rootzone, caused by erratic rainfall and imbalanced rainfall partitioning, through the study of the rootzone water balance, adoption constraints, yield increase and hydrological impact.
