SGroup TTConference - Social Innovation in Campus and Beyond

SGroup - Universities in Europe is pleased to invite to attend the Think Tank Academy Conference "Social Innovation on campus and beyond", hosted by the University of Minho, on 26 October from 10h to 14h (CET), in a hybrid format.

The Conference comprises five presentations from experts representing different stakeholders – academics, universities and civil society. The full program (in GMT) and speakers information can be found here. Register here before 21 October to join us online and by 14 October to join us in-person!

The first panel will address the role of higher education institutions for social innovation and how young students can be important drivers of innovation in universities. The second one is focused on social impact and outreach of universities and includes regional showcases of practices from Latin America and Africa, as well as a presentation on social responsibility in research practice and how interdisciplinarity can promote engagement beyond academia.

The event will conclude with the Final Ceremony of SGroup PhD Training and Competition in which the five finalists will present their research projects live in three minutes and the first prize and mobility grants.
