Goal of the symposium
The symposium is part of a series of activities aimed at making the role of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the tropics more visible to both students and staff. We will inform you on research, capacity building, and the opportunities for students both during and after their studies. The symposium will not involve any topics on wildlife.

• Staff keen to initiate research or build capacity in the tropics
• Anyone wondering on how the Faculty is involved in improving both animal and public health in the tropics
