Objective:

This research concerns a voluntary non-funded collaboration with Africa Rice Center in Saint-Louis, Senegal. The aims are to analyse determinants of African consumers' interest in locally produced and labelled rice versus imported broken rice through market experiments in different African countries. Research activities are led by Africa Rice Center with collaboration by UGent.
